Hinterland's Solitaire, HT, PT, TC (DL532316/01), or Solitaire (for short), is OFA Good H&E (GS-50243G38F-T, GS-EL7529-T). Solitaire is a second-generation Hinterland bitch. She is a full sister, different litter, to our Megan.

Her Sire is KK1 Lbz V-Rated "Ben von Thuringen, SchH3, FH" OFA Good. Ben was Egon Vollrath's old Schutzhund competition dog. Ben's lines go to: sire 1984 Bundessieger "Perry v. Beilstein, SchH3", dam World Championship Competitor "Anka v. Friedenheim, SchH3," and Sirk Busecker Schloss, Enno Beilstein, Ulk Bungalow, Caro Allerwald and Quicki Itztal.

Solitaire is an incredible bitch. She is a very serious animal. Her protection work is predominately defense, but balances nicely into prey. She has a full, hard, calm, "back to the eyeballs" grip, Glen Bennett's comment. She has a super guarding instinct. She loves her tracking. After a couple of times out, she automatically indicated articles for me. She is a natural when working livestock, just like her dam. Solitaire has been self-appointed as my personal bodyguard, bed partner and loyal companion. She is not a dog for a novice handler.
