Megan von Hinterland, TC (DL570649/02), or Megan (for short) is a second-generation Hinterland bitch. Megan is a full sister, different litter, to our Solitaire.

Her Sire is KK1 Lbz V-Rated "Ben von Thuringen, SchH3, FH" OFA Good. Ben was Egon Vollrath's old Schutzhund competition dog. Ben's lines go to: sire 1984 Bundessieger "Perry v. Beilstein, SchH3", dam World Championship Competitor "Anka v. Friedenheim, SchH3," and Sirk Busecker Schloss, Enno Beilstein, Ulk Bungalow, Caro Allerwald and Quicki Itztal.

Her Dam is Hinterland's "Maxine von Holt, BH, CD, CDX, HT, TC, CGC, RTD, Int." OFA Good (hips and elbows), vWd neg, Eyes Certified.

Our "Meggie" is a wonderful dog. She is a puppy out of our Maxine's last litter. Megan's breeding is a repeat breeding of Maxine and Ben. Megan is a large bitch with a stock hair, medium-length coat. Megan is a natural guard dog with an excellent temperament and high drive. She is a very athletic animal with a beautifully natural jumping style. Megan will not be bred, as she has one dysplastic hip, which was only diagnosed by radiograph. One would never know it, though, judging by her high energy, vivid spirit, enthusiasm for life and athleticism. Meggie has special "pet value" ;).
